How Much I Make Driving Doordash

new post like around 8am like mostly on sundays

#Quarantine2020

With the Corona Virus literally taking over the US these past couple months, everything has been locked down. Seriously, like everything has been pretty much closed or limited to very few people. They closed all the gyms. They closed the library. They pretty much closed all stores that aren’t absolutely essential for people like grocery stores.

No Jobs

With everything being closed, no one has any work right now unless you apply for unemployment or get your stimulus checks from the government.

DoorDash & How Much I Make

I had to resolve to DoorDash in order to some extra money coming in. So here’s some brief little points to show you guys how much I make.

Basic Info

  • Car: 1998 Toyota Corolla, 100k+ Miles, Works Great, Full Tank Of Gas = $20 At Costco During Quarantine
  • Usually Drive On Weekdays Only
  • Drive For Around 3 – 5 Hours A Day

Money Stats for One Week

  • Most I’ve Made In One Week: $390.46
  • DoorDash Pay: $235.25
  • Customer Tip: $155.21
  • Active Time (Actually Driving): 12h 41m
  • Dash Time (Time Spent With The App On): 15h, 17m
  • Deliveries: 38
  • Average (Total Pay / Dash Time) = $25.73
  • Filled Up Gas At The Start of The Week: ~ $20

Day by Day

  • Monday: $82.33
  • Tuesday: $112.67
  • Wednesday: $109.00
  • Friday: $86.46

Conclusion

If you’re looking for some extra money and don’t mind putting a few miles on your car, then DoorDash is pretty cool. It pays well as long as customers are tipping. The servers are kind of janky and have been crashing a lot due to the overflow of drivers looking for extra money as well during quarantine. But like I said, if you’re looking for some extra money, go ahead and try it. It’s laid back. I usually just lay back, listen to an audio book and drive around dropping food off.
